Ice Cream Bowl Set - Spanish Tiles in Cobalt Blue Handmade Pottery, 2 bowls

A pair of bowls the perfect size for ice cream. They hold about 12 fluid oz. These bowls are handmade from clay slabs that are shaped with a round bottom and a cute foot that elevates the form. Fits in the palm of your hand and perfect for a sweet treat but also perfect for serving dips or olives to share or as an individual side dish, or also perfect for use as a tea bowl.  Two bowls included with purchase.

Textured Spanish Tiles Beautiful embossed tiles designs on white stoneware. Inlaid by hand with Cobalt Oxide and wiped back on the raised areas to enhance the look. Cobalt has a long history (centuries) with pottery and always gives the most gorgeous deep blue that looks striking against the off-white color of the clay. It’s my favorite! Beautiful Cobalt blue glaze on the inside and the bottom of bowl.

Made out of White Stoneware fired to 2200 degrees F. Made with lots of love!

My pottery is always 100% lead free and food safe. Kiln fired at least twice to 2200 degrees F. Designed & handmade in Texas in small batches by Lisa. Every piece is handmade, nothing mass produced. Each item is a “perfectly imperfect” OOAK. Sets or multiples of the same object will match in style but may vary slightly as a feature of being completely handcrafted. Enjoy
